Conscious Self- Mindfulness for overall wellbeing.
Ayurveda is an ancient holistic medical science from India. This sister science of yoga can be considered as one of the oldest and most complete healing science of the world. Based on the fundamental belief that everything in nature originates from five basic elements: Earth, water, air, ether and fire; it stresses that there is a deeper connection between our internal and external environment. The major focus is on person’s unique Prakriti (Ayurvedic constitution). Vaidya (Ayurvedic Physician) is just a teacher or guide. By putting in the right energies and materials into our system and by creating a proper environment within we can lead a healthy and optimally balanced life.
Ayurveda is a system based on natural healing through strengthening the body, mind and spirit. We learn to make conscious contributions to who we are and what we are becoming. Due to its normative characteristic, a lot of emphasis has been laid on disease prevention and self-healing by following a routine specific to your constitution. Daily routines (Dincharya) and Seasonal regimens (Ritucharya) are recommended. Thus, there is no single diet or lifestyle that works for everyone. Ayurveda is not a ‘one size fits all’ system. Instead, regimes are tailored to each person’s individual need and requirement.
