Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Osteopathic Practitioner to join our growing team in Flamborough, Ontario. This role is ideal for a practitioner who is deeply passionate about the principles of Osteopathy and is eager to apply a holistic approach to patient care. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative environment that values continuous learning and multidisciplinary cooperation. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients’ structural and functional imbalances.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that may include techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and osteopathic cranial techniques.
- Work closely with patients to educate them on their conditions and provide guidance on exercises, lifestyle changes, and other complementary therapies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
- Maintain detailed patient records and track progress over time.
- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in manual osteopathy and related health fields.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Osteopath from a recognized institution.
- Certification or registration with a recognized osteopathy association in Ontario.
- Strong foundational knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a team.
- A commitment to patient-centered care and a holistic approach to health.
- Previous clinical experience is an asset, but motivated new graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Strong independent work ethic, excellent time management skills, and proven ability to retain patients through effective treatment and empathetic patient care.
