Position Overview: We are seeking a licensed Psychologist to enhance our mental health services. The successful candidate will be skilled in delivering a variety of psychological therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, among others. This role requires a deep understanding of mental health issues and a passion for employing a range of therapeutic modalities to support patient well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and diagnoses for a diverse clientele, addressing a broad range of mental health conditions.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, EFT, DBT, ACT, and Psychodynamic Therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Offer ongoing therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and groups, facilitating emotional, cognitive, and behavioral change.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to deliver integrated care that supports the holistic well-being of patients.
- Maintain up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to professional and ethical standards.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest advancements in psychological therapies and mental health research.
Qualifications:
- A Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Registration as a Psychologist in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Proven expertise in a range of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, EFT, DBT, ACT, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with a diverse patient population.
- A strong commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and retain patients through successful therapeutic outcomes.
