Position Overview: We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist who specializes in psychotherapy, family counseling, Child/Kids Therapy and Marriage/couples counseling. This role is for a dedicated professional capable of working both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional time management skills, the ability to retain clients through effective therapeutic relationships, and the independence to manage their caseload while contributing to our clinic’s collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health and behavior conditions.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans with measurable goals, adapting strategies to meet the evolving needs of clients.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills by efficiently scheduling sessions, managing caseloads, and adhering to treatment timelines.
  • Successfully retain clients by building trust, achieving therapeutic goals, and fostering long-term therapeutic relationships.
  • Work independently, taking initiative in client care, documentation, and professional development, while also collaborating with the clinic’s multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct initial assessments, monitor progress, and adjust treatments as necessary to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Promote mental health awareness and education among clients and the wider community.

Qualifications:

  • Valid credentials in Psychotherapy, or a related field, with registration in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and families, showcasing the ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong ability to retain clients, demonstrated by a history of successful long-term therapeutic engagements.
  • Capable of working independently, managing all aspects of client care with minimal supervision, while also being an active and collaborative team member.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, professional development, and adherence to the highest standards of client confidentiality and care.
