After your 90 Minutes Initial Visit appointment with Acupuncturist. You will be booked for 30 Minutes, 45 Minutes, 60 Minutes or 90 Minutes sessions, depending on your condition and health goals. These sessions will help improving current illnesses and injuries, stop recurrence of illnesses or new illnesses and improve your general health condition.
In Traditional Chinese (TCM), health is dependent on the body’s motivating energy, known as Qi (pronounced "chee"). The flow of Qi can be regulated throughout the body using various techniques, such as acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and using Chinese patent herbs.
Normally, Qi should flow in a smooth and balanced way through a series of organ meridians or channels. Illness results when there is a blockage in this energy flow or if there is an inadequate supply of Qi. A number of factors can disturb the flow of Qi, some of which includes Dysfunctional emotional states (anxiety, stress, anger, fear or grief), Poor Nutrition, Hereditary Factors, Infections, Trauma
What is the size of the Needles?
Acupuncture Needles are always feared by many people. It is a misbelieve which prevents them from trying this treatment and overlook the many benefits it provides. Acupuncture Needles are always compared to Medical Syringe which is in fact totally incorrect.
Acupuncture Needles are almost as thin as human hair. It causes zero to very little pain which is very tolerable in most cases and still are very effective. What is Acupuncturist?
The acupuncturist is a profession in which Acupuncturists are trained in Acupuncture treatment also known as Traditional Chinese (TCM). During Acupuncture training, Acupuncturist goes through many different Acupuncture courses covering many areas of the human body and Acupuncture treatments to improve illnesses and injuries.
Acupuncturists are heavily regulated throughout Canada and require their Acupuncture license to practice in Ontario or other provinces. Also, go through over 500 hours of practical hands-on and supervised sessions. These sessions are there to ensure Acupuncturist get hands-on knowledge and experience. Besides going through written and oral exams, Acupuncturist also goes through practical exams which offers proof of their progress.
