Dr. Spogmai Hakimi is a board certified and licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She has attained her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences and her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Toronto. Her combined passion for education and health led her to complete a four-year doctorate program in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Spogmai Hakimi has served as an intern at various health care institutions including the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and also the Queen West Naturopathic Health Centre.
In her primary care practice, Dr. Hakimi integrates her strong conventional diagnostic skills along with research proven natural therapies to create safe and effective individualized treatment protocols. The cornerstone of her treatment philosophy is to address the root cause of disease by acknowledging the interdependence of the body, mind, and spirit.
Dr. Spogmai Hakimi has a family health practice with special focus on autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular health, weight management, digestive disorders, stress & anxiety, women’s health, and pain management. She uses an evidence-based approach in her practice along with Clinical Nutrition, Diet & Lifestyle changes, Botanical Medicine, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, and Counseling to optimize her patient’s health and wellbeing.
Dr. Spogmai Hakimi passion for education allows her to fulfill the principle of Doctor as a Teacher. She takes an ample amount of time educating her patients and the public about health and wellness with prevention of disease as the primary focus. With the use of a holistic approach, Dr. Hakimi serves as a facilitator in guiding others on their individualized health journeys, inspiring them to embrace a more balanced vital life.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Spogmai Hakimi is also a teaching assistant for various courses at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
