An aromatherapy massage is very good for stress relief and also very beneficial for allergies. How is Deep Tissue Massage different than regular massage wellness sessions? If you suffer from frequent tension headaches and back pains, you may benefit from a professional deep tissue neck massage. During a deep tissue massage wellness session, the massage therapist uses a stretching technique along with pressure to pull and stretch your muscles. This allows the muscles to relax and helps to relieve your headache and tension. The use of massage oil really does help usher in extra feeling and sensation. This helps reduce tension and stress in the muscle joints and help alleviate pain.
What is the difference between Relaxation / Swedish massage and Deep Tissue / Therapeutic Massage? A Relaxation massage also known as Swedish massage is similar to spa-type massage. It comes with kneading techniques, and light to medium pressure during the session. Most often patients will go for one relaxation massage ones a month to maintain a healthy state of their body. Deep tissue or Therapeutic massages use more advanced techniques to help ease pain and address chronic health care issues. Patients who go for therapeutic massage typically have health-related symptoms that impact their daily lives. No symptoms can be 100% treated with only one therapeutic massage session. Patients are often asked to make a few frequent weekly massage wellness sessions and over time those treatments can be reduced as the patients are getting better.

We have noticed great results when our patients keep up with their sessions. Once the pain has been relieved, it is always a great idea to continue one massage treatment once a month. This will help to keep the body pain free and relax the entire body.

If a certain part of the body is tight, inflamed, injured or in spasm, then those parts can feel pain during any massage treatment. Before your massage wellness session, we always ask our patients to be open and honest with our massage therapists (RMTs) in regards to which areas you are experiencing pain on your body and how much pressure you would like to get. This will make a big difference and receiving the benefits of your massage session.
